Sol Beach Jindo Launches Local Specialty 'Baekhyanggwa' Beverage

Introducing Aides and Teas at the On-site Cafe

Sol Beach Jindo, operated by Daemyung Sono Group's Sono International, announced on the 27th that it has launched a new beverage menu made with the local specialty passion fruit (Baekhyang-gwa).

Passion fruit, known as Baekhyang-gwa, which is said to have 100 different fragrances, contains more than three times the amount of vitamin C compared to pomegranates, helping to relieve fatigue and prevent aging. It is also rich in estrogen and potassium, essential for women's health management.


Sol Beach Jindo sells passion fruit ade and tea. In Korea, passion fruit is produced in Gangwon-do, Chungcheong-do, and Jeolla-do, among which Jindo-grown passion fruit is known to have more juice and higher sweetness than imported passion fruit commonly used in the market.


The beverages are sold at the bakery & cafe on the first floor of the Sol Beach Jindo Welcome Center. As a promotional offer to celebrate the launch, customers can purchase the 'Sol Beach Jindo Signature Bottle' for 2,000 won.
