Kim Bio "Shared 4th Place Excitement"... 'Secures D Open Entry Ticket' Kim Bi-o secured a tie for 4th place at the Asian Tour World City Championship, earning a spot in the Open Championship.

This tournament, which also serves as the Asian regional qualifier for The Open along with the Kolon Korean Open and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) Mizuno Open, determined the rankings over 54 holes in 3 rounds due to bad weather.

Until the previous day, Kim Bi-o was tied for 23rd place, far from qualifying for The Open. However, on this day, he significantly improved his position by recording 5 birdies without any bogeys. Seo Yo-seop was unfortunate due to a lack of concentration in the latter half. Leading in 2nd place until the 13th hole (par 5), he quickly lost 3 strokes with a bogey on the 14th hole and a double bogey on the 15th hole (both par 4). He finished tied for 6th place (7-under-par 203). Cho Min-kyu ended the tournament tied for 9th place (6-under-par 204).

Daichi Go (Hong Kong) secured the victory by 2 strokes with a 12-under-par 198. The winner's prize money is 180,000 dollars (approximately 230 million won). Go, who has a Hong Kong father and a Japanese mother, completed college in the United States and joined the Asian Tour this year, winning in his third tournament appearance. Daichi Go was appointed as the ambassador of Hong Kong Golf Club in January and uses Hong Kong Golf Club as his home course. Michael Hendry (New Zealand) finished 2nd (10-under-par 200), and Travis Smith (Australia) placed 3rd (9-under-par 201), securing their qualifications for The Open.
