Hyundai Mobis announced on the 27th that it will participate in the '2023 Seoul Mobility Show' held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do from March 31 to April 9, unveiling its future mobility innovation technologies. Along with the M.Vision series, which received high praise at CES earlier this year, Hyundai Mobis will present its future mobility direction to domestic visitors with differentiated content.
The 2023 Seoul Mobility Show marks Hyundai Mobis's first meeting with domestic consumers since the endemic phase. Under the theme "Hi! For better Tomorrow," the company will introduce the future mobility world it envisions in the largest exhibition space ever (approximately 218 pyeong).
Hyundai Mobis plans to display a total of 11 exhibits arranged in three zones. Visitors can experience Hyundai Mobis's advanced future technologies in the Future Mobility Zone, Technology Promotion Zone, and Brand Zone.
First, the Future Mobility Zone will showcase the purpose-built mobility (PBV) M.Vision TO and HI for the first time in Korea. The M.Vision TO is an electrified autonomous driving concept car. It integrates new technologies such as the e-corner system, autonomous driving sensors, and communication lighting. Visitors can ride the PBV, which features crab driving with wheels that rotate 90 degrees sideways and 360-degree on-the-spot rotation, offering a unique mobility experience.
The M.Vision HI, developed for leisure and relaxation purposes, will also be exhibited. Inside the vehicle, chairs that can freely change position and direction are installed along with a large display equipped with gaze recognition technology. Visitors can conveniently enjoy desired content such as watching movies or internet shopping simply by turning their gaze and moving their hands.
In the M. Tech Gallery, the Technology Promotion Zone, Hyundai Mobis will showcase a wide range of core future mobility technologies under development. Notable exhibits include 'M.Brain,' the world's first brainwave-based healthcare technology that won a CES Innovation Award, and the 'Next-generation Rear-wheel Steering System,' selected as an excellent innovative technology by the Face Award. Docents will be available to assist visitors in understanding the technologies and enhance their immersion.
In addition to the exhibits, a Brand Promotion Zone introducing Hyundai Mobis's brand identity will be set up for the first time. Centered on the new slogan "The one for all mobility," Hyundai Mobis aims to familiarize visitors with its corporate brand. The Brand Promotion Zone will also feature artworks created in collaboration with James Cook, a famous British influencer and typographic artist who draws pictures using a typewriter.
Meanwhile, during the exhibition period, Hyundai Mobis will operate its representative social contribution program for elementary school students, the 'Junior Engineering Class.' Activities include learning the principles of hydrogen electric vehicles, making mini cars, and creating cleaning robots. Any elementary school visitor can participate by registering at the Hyundai Mobis exhibition booth on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are held once on weekdays and twice (morning and afternoon) on weekends.
