Wijit, a National Core Strategic Technology Manufacturing Company... Semiconductor Sales Soar

On the 24th, Wijit, which produces semiconductor products designated as a national core strategic technology by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, announced that its domestic and overseas semiconductor sales have significantly increased through the localization development of core semiconductor components and customer diversification. Last year, semiconductor sales grew by 105% compared to 2021, and this year, semiconductor sales are expected to more than double compared to the previous year.

Wijit's major semiconductor products include Shower Head, Face Plate, and Showerped, which are core components of the thin film process (CVD), one of the eight key semiconductor manufacturing processes. Its core technologies include ultra-precision hole processing technology, coating technology applicable to various fields (patented), surface treatment technology capable of nano-level control, and new concept automated welding technology.

Wijit is a specialized company in semiconductor and display materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang) designated by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

A representative of Wijit stated that while continuing steady growth with excellent technological competitiveness, the company plans to accelerate securing future growth engines by actively reflecting customer needs through product advancement with goals of ▲Growth ▲Customer ▲Profit to establish a mid- to long-term growth system. This includes introducing new semiconductor processing equipment, developing new coating technologies, expanding new clients and new items for differentiation.
