"Hyundai Motor Starts 2023 Season Operation of 'Korea's Largest Driving Test Track'"

Hyundai Motor Group will begin operating the largest HMG Driving Experience Center in Korea (located in Taean, Chungnam), which combines a driving experience facility and a test track, for the 2023 season starting on the 25th.


The HMG Driving Experience Center consists of the Korea Technoring test track (1.26 million ㎡, approximately 380,000 pyeong) and a customer-exclusive building with two floors above ground totaling 10,223 ㎡ (approximately 3,092 pyeong).

The 2023 season of the HMG Driving Experience Center features eight driving experience courses. These include a ▲braking course ▲dry circuit under harsh conditions ▲wet circuit ▲4.6 km high-speed circuit ▲gymkhana (a driving program where a course is created on a flat surface to practice driving skills) and a complex slalom (a technique course passing through rubber cones arranged in a zigzag pattern) as multipurpose driving courses; as well as a ▲wet one-turn course for drift experience ▲kick plate course (a program designed to shake the road surface to teach emergency response techniques) ▲and Asia’s largest off-road course for sports utility vehicles (SUVs) featuring slopes, gravel, sand, bumps, and water channels.

In addition, Hyundai Motor Group has prepared driving skill education and co-driving experiences for limit driving. New electric vehicles such as the Ioniq 6 and EV6 GT have been introduced for electric vehicle experiences. There are also experience programs available for child customers.
