Mirae Asset Life Insurance has supported pediatric cancer patients with antimicrobial kits for 10 years.
On the 24th, Mirae Asset Life Insurance announced that, together with the Life Insurance Social Contribution Committee, it delivered 1,000 antimicrobial kits called 'Hoho Box' to the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation to help pediatric cancer patients.
The delivery of antimicrobial kits is a representative social contribution activity of Mirae Asset Life Insurance. Since 2013, it has been conducted annually, and this year marks the 10th year, during which antimicrobial kits worth 70 million KRW have been provided to a total of 10,346 pediatric cancer patients. The antimicrobial kits consist of antimicrobial consumables necessary for pediatric cancer patients with weakened immune systems. This year, employees also participated directly in the production. Previously, in 2012, Mirae Asset Life Insurance signed a social contribution business agreement with the Korea Leukemia Children's Foundation and carried out activities such as blood donation certificate donations and love practice donations.
Hwang Byung-wook, head of public relations at Mirae Asset Life Insurance, said, "Mirae Asset Life Insurance has been striving to return the love received from customers and society with even greater value through the annual support of Hoho Boxes for 10 years." He added, "We will continue to provide support in various ways so that all children and families suffering from pediatric cancer can live healthy and happy lives."
