Daewon Pharmaceutical announced on the 23rd that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) for the 'KPGA Korean Tour.'

The signing ceremony held at the KPGA building in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, was attended by Kim Yeon-seop, Executive Director of Daewon Pharmaceutical, and Kim Byung-joon, CEO of the Korea Professional Golf Tour (KGT), along with other representatives from both sides.
Under this agreement, Daewon Pharmaceutical will officially sponsor the KPGA Korean Tour's 'TOP10 Finish' category. Accordingly, the ranking in this category will be called the 'Daewon Pharmaceutical Call Daewon TOP10 Finish' for the next two years. The TOP10 Finish is an indicator showing the number of times a player who has participated in more than 40% of a season's events finishes within the top 10 in each tournament.
Kim Yeon-seop, Executive Director of Daewon Pharmaceutical, said, "We are pleased to be able to partner as an official sponsor of KPGA for two years," adding, "Based on Daewon Pharmaceutical's spirit of prioritizing healthy lives for humanity, we will contribute, even if just a little, to the development of a healthy sports culture."
KGT CEO Kim Byung-joon expressed, "We thank all the executives and employees of Daewon Pharmaceutical for their interest and support for the development of KPGA and Korean professional golf," and said, "I am confident that this agreement will create a good synergy effect between Daewon Pharmaceutical and KPGA."
