Hana Securities announced on the 23rd that it conducted a meal-sharing volunteer activity to support the elderly at the Daejeon Happy House Free Meal Center.
The meal-sharing volunteer activity at Daejeon Happy House, held the previous day, was attended by Kang Sung-mook, CEO of Hana Securities, Kim Kyu-hyung, chairman of the labor union, and employees from the Daejeon area. Lunch was provided to over 80 elderly individuals, and from ingredient preparation to cooking and serving, the labor and management of Hana Securities took full responsibility, adding significance to coexistence.
In addition to the meal volunteer work, Hana Securities donated rice to the Daejeon Volunteer Association, which operates the Happy House Free Meal Center, pledging continuous interest in the development of the local community.
CEO Kang said, "The purpose of the meal-sharing is to create a comfortable and happy dining experience with the elderly," adding, "We will visit any site nationwide that needs a helping hand, participate in solving community issues, and fulfill the social responsibilities of a company."
