Goseong-gun Revitalizes Stagnant Goseong Market... Consumer Promotion Event

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will hold the ‘Goseong Market Consumption Promotion Payback Event’ from the 26th to the 31st to revitalize the traditional market, which has been stagnant due to rising living costs and a downturn in the domestic economy.

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is taking action to revitalize traditional markets.

This event was organized as part of the Gyeongnam Representative Tourism Market project selected in January.

During the event period, customers who purchase goods worth 50,000 won or more at Goseong Market and submit credit card receipts can receive Onnuri gift certificates ranging from 5,000 won to 30,000 won at the Goseong Market Merchants Association office, depending on the purchase amount.

County Governor Lee Sang-geun said, “We will continuously develop food and attractions at Goseong Market, a representative market of Gyeongnam. We hope visitors will come to our Goseong Market during this season, which is perfect for spring outings, and experience the market’s atmosphere.”

Meanwhile, Goseong-gun plans to further promote local consumption by holding additional consumption promotion events in the future.
