Kolon Industries FnC Division announced on the 23rd that its upcycling-based brand ‘Lacode’ will showcase upcycled products made from leftover stock in collaboration with the women's young character casual brand ‘Lucky Chouette’.
This collaboration was carried out under the concept of ‘Without Boundaries.’ Through deconstruction and recombination, the original details of the leftover stock are revealed without boundaries, giving birth to new products.
Lacode used handcrafted techniques such as rough finishing of fabrics with raw cutting and hand crafted methods to fully express the traces of fabric deconstruction from Lucky Chouette. At the same time, soft materials were added to reflect the flexibility of the silhouette in the design.
The collaboration products consist of a total of 10 items. You can find various tops and bottoms such as an asymmetrical long skirt made by deconstructing Lucky Chouette’s jumpsuit, and the ‘Side Panel Mix Zip-up Vest,’ which transforms an outdoor vest into a feminine silhouette. Additionally, a stylish design using the backward method, which turns the front of leftover shirts to the back, such as the ‘Backward Pleated Shirt Top,’ is also introduced. The collaboration collection is available both online and offline starting today. Offline sales are limited to Lacode’s Itaewon flagship store, Lacode Lotte Avenuel store, and Lucky Chouette COEX store, while online sales are available through Kolon Mall.
A Lacode representative said, “It is interesting to see how boundaryless designs are born when two completely different brands come together,” adding, “Through unique designs and special upcycled products, we hope to realize sustainable value.”
