HiteJinro Conducts Environmental Cleanup at Jeju Pyoseon Beach

HiteJinro announced on the 23rd that it conducted an environmental cleanup activity around Pyoseon Beach, located in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Island. Since 2020, HiteJinro has selected Pyoseon Beach as a companion beach and has been carrying out continuous cleanup activities.

This companion beach cleanup activity took place on the 22nd in observance of World Water Day. Employees of HiteJinro’s Jeju branch participated and collected a total of 220kg of trash around Pyoseon Beach. The amount of trash collected that day will be used as data for domestic beach waste collection in the future.

HiteJinro is planning various activities this year as it enters the fourth year of its companion beach project. In addition to quarterly cleanup activities, it will hold consumer events to promote Pyoseon Beach and campaigns to raise awareness of marine environmental protection.
