Final Intensive Promotion at Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul
The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Foundation (Chairman Noh Kwan-gyu, Mayor of Suncheon) conducted intensive final promotional activities over two days from the 21st at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul ahead of the expo opening on March 31.
The event was part of the ‘Seoul Festival’ hosted by Jeollanam-do Province to mark the second year of the ‘2022-2023 Jeonnam Visit Year,’ attended by about 10,000 people including invited guests, expatriates, and Seoul citizens. The 2023 Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo is the largest of the four major events held in Jeonnam this year.
At the garden expo promotional booth, the expo was promoted focusing on the ‘Big Change 10,’ and an event was held where visitors could receive expo goods through a capsule draw linked to official social media (SNS) follows, drawing long lines of enthusiastic participants.
Meanwhile, on the morning of the 22nd, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo visited the garden expo promotional booth and showed particular interest in the Garden Stay, stating, “I will definitely visit if I get the chance.”
The 2023 Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo will be held for seven months from March 31, starting with the opening ceremony at the Dongcheon floating special stage, and continuing until October 31 across Suncheon Bay National Garden, Suncheon Bay Wetland, and the downtown area.
