Gwangju Buk-gu and Local Medical Welfare Sector Join Hands to Create an 'Integrated Care Model'

Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is joining forces with local medical and welfare sectors to create a warm and comprehensive Buk-gu-style integrated care model.

According to Buk-gu on the 22nd, on the 23rd, a 'Gwangju-style Integrated Care Implementing Agencies Business Agreement' will be signed with nine medical and welfare institutions and organizations at the Buk-gu Office Situation Room.

This agreement was prepared to resolve blind spots in care by establishing a complex care service system that meets various demands such as welfare, health care, and volunteering, and to ensure the successful settlement of the 'Gwangju-style Integrated Care' project.

In the welfare sector, five institutions including Dongsin Community Self-Support Center, Buk-gu Workplace Community Self-Support Center, Hope Community Self-Support Center, Korea Association of Long-Term Care Institutions for the Elderly Gwangju Buk-gu Branch, and Yosep Happiness Workplace will participate.

In the health care sector, two institutions, Gwangju Buk-gu Korean Medicine Association and the Korean Physical Therapy Association Gwangju Metropolitan City Chapter, will participate, along with Buk-gu Comprehensive Home Care Center and Eoullim Love Sharing Volunteer Society.

Through this agreement, Buk-gu will provide administrative support such as recording and referring the necessary services for the target individuals, and the implementing agencies will dispatch professional personnel to provide high-quality services.

In particular, to ensure the sustainability of the project and the provision of high-quality services, the implementing agencies will also make thorough efforts in managing professional personnel through education and training.
