Inauguration of Kim Gi-jong as the 15th President of Hamyang Anui Nonghyup

Kim Ki-jong, the newly appointed chairman of the Gyeongnam Hamyang Anui Nonghyup, officially took office as the 15th chairman of Anui Nonghyup.

Kim Ki-jong, the newly appointed union president, is delivering his inaugural speech.

At the inauguration ceremony held on the 21st, Chairman Kim said, “Anui Nonghyup plays a pivotal role in laying the foundation for local farmers to cooperate and develop together. I will thoroughly follow the values and mission of Anui Nonghyup and strive for its development,” adding, “I promise to always share the concerns of farmer members and work together to resolve them.”

He continued, “Farmer members play a very important role in the national existence and development of our country,” and added, “I will do my best so that members can dream of a more abundant and stable future.”

In particular, Chairman Kim expressed his intention to ensure various benefits such as ▲supporting income increase for member farms ▲establishing new farming work teams ▲reducing farm expenses ▲expanding incentives for agricultural product shipments ▲fostering young members ▲supporting returning farmers and rural migrants ▲promoting member welfare ▲supporting events for senior members.

Chairman Kim stated that he will listen attentively to the stories of members and strive for democratic management of the cooperative where members can directly participate. He also pledged to enhance agricultural productivity through innovation and to build a Nonghyup that protects and improves the rights and interests of its members.
