If you use the monthly 90,000 KRW TVING·Genie Choice Basic plan, you receive an official subsidy of 400,000 KRW plus an additional subsidy of 60,000 KRW. The price of the iPhone 14 (128GB), originally priced in the 1.2 million KRW range, drops to as low as 783,000 KRW.
SK Telecom raised the official subsidy for the first time since the launch of the iPhone 14 series on the 17th, with a maximum subsidy of 400,000 KRW. LG Uplus had already increased the official subsidy for the iPhone 14 to a maximum of 450,000 KRW on the 3rd. With an official subsidy of 450,000 KRW plus an additional subsidy of 67,500 KRW, the device can be purchased for 725,500 KRW.
This move aligns with the expectation that iPhone purchase demand will increase as Apple launched its easy payment service, Apple Pay, on the same day.
By adding a Hyundai Card owned by the user to Apple Pay, Apple Pay can be used at domestic and international merchants. Payments via Apple Pay are possible not only at offline merchants such as Costco, Twosome Place, Lotte Department Store, Homeplus, and convenience stores but also on applications (apps) and websites including Baedal Minjok, Musinsa, GS SHOP, Paul Bassett, and Lotte Cinema.
