‘Nanu Network’ Electric Scooter Battery Swap Station Infrastructure Expansion Underway

The electric two-wheeler brand comprehensive platform ‘Nanu Network’ announced that it has finalized plans to install 550 battery exchange stations nationwide throughout 2023, and expansion is underway focusing on Seoul, Daegu, and Busan.

Along with the confirmed infrastructure, accessibility is being enhanced through additional cooperation with dealerships and delivery agencies to make it easier for consumers to access. Based on further collaborations with convenience stores and the QSR industry, they plan to install 10,000 battery stations within five years.

A representative from Nanu stated, “Nanu Network is currently the only brand operating mobility from various manufacturers within a single electric scooter infrastructure service. At EV Trend Korea 2023, we announced the successful launch of our brand, which has led to a flood of inquiries ranging from electric scooter purchases to locations for battery exchange station installations. We are positively reviewing additional infrastructure expansion in other regions beyond the originally planned installation sites in Seoul, Gyeongin, Daegu, and Busan.”

Additionally, Nanu’s previously available NanuA stations with 72V specifications were only compatible with a single product like other battery exchange stations, but with the newly added NanuP stations featuring 48V specifications, compatibility with various domestic manufacturers’ mobility devices has been enabled, greatly expanding customer choice.
