Hankook Tire Affiliate Wins 'Customer Experience of the Year' Award at Australian Retailer Awards

Hankook Tire & Technology (hereinafter Hankook Tire) announced on the 21st that its affiliate's tire distribution specialist brand, JAX Tyres and Auto (hereinafter JAX Tyres), recently won the 'Customer Experience of the Year Award' at the '2023 Retailer Awards' held in Australia.

Hankook Tire acquired the Australian tire distribution specialist brand JAX Tyres in 2017. It has integrated Hankook Tire's unique innovative franchise system into the distribution network to provide various customer convenience-centered services.

The 'Retailer Awards' is an event that selects and awards outstanding brands that have provided the best customer experience over the year in two countries, Australia and New Zealand. JAX Tyres operated key performance indicators prioritizing customers and service innovation. By reflecting this in its business framework and practicing customer-centric service innovation, it earned the honor of receiving the award.

JAX Tyres is the largest premium tire distribution specialist brand in Australia, operating about 90 franchise stores nationwide. Notably, the stores are transparently open like premium car dealerships. They pursue differentiation by creating a comfortable visit environment through modern-style design and customer-friendly interiors.

Additionally, it offers specialized services such as real-time online tire information provision, tire installation at customer-designated stores, and tire installation image confirmation through a simulation system.

Gary Mortimer, a professor at Queensland University of Technology who was in charge of judging this award ceremony, evaluated, "The service innovation that JAX Tyres has practiced so far is a good example for other brands to refer to in order to strengthen consistent customer experience."
