Operated for 4 Weeks from April for Expectant Moms
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, is operating a prenatal health class for pregnant women in the area to promote healthy pregnancy and childbirth.
According to the county on the 21st, the health class is scheduled to run for four weeks starting from the 5th of next month. It consists of a total of four sessions including theoretical classes on understanding the pregnancy and childbirth process and breastfeeding methods, making newborn childcare items (attachment dolls), and a horticulture class (creating my own garden).
The education will be conducted by inviting professional instructors with extensive field experience, covering theoretical education and hands-on activities such as understanding prenatal care and childbirth processes, delivery breathing techniques, successful breastfeeding methods, newborn bathing methods, making childcare items, and horticulture classes.
They plan to do their best to provide expectant mothers with various information about pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare to promote healthy delivery and improve the health of pregnant women and newborns.
Pregnant women who wish to participate can apply by phone to the Health Center's Birth Promotion Team or visit the Maternal and Child Health Room on the first floor of the Health Center to apply in person.
A county official said, "This will be a beneficial education that provides direction for the health management of pregnant women and newborns, and we hope for the interest and active participation of many pregnant women in the area."
