Recruitment of Sellers for Gwangju Nam-gu's '1st SoHwakheng Sharing Market'

First 30 People in Order of Arrival

Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 21st that it will publicly recruit participants to sell various items at the 1st Small but Certain Happiness Sharing Market to be held on the 15th of next month.

Nam-gu plans to hold the Small but Certain Happiness Sharing Market, which incorporates culture and performances, four times a year to revitalize the Baegun Plaza area.

Ahead of the market, participants who wish to sell items usable in daily life are being recruited until the 31st of this month.

Any resident can participate as a seller, but participants who are in third grade or below in elementary school must be accompanied by a parent to participate.

The number of participants is limited to the first 30 applicants, and sellers will be provided with booths for selling items on the day of the event. Items that can be sold include clothing, toys, shoes, bags, books, and small home appliances.

To apply, download the application form from the banner on the Nam-gu Office website and submit it via email to the person in charge, or visit the Resident Happiness Officer's office on the first floor of Nam-gu Office or each Dong Administrative Welfare Center to submit the application form in person.

The Small but Certain Happiness Sharing Market aims to make the Baegun Plaza area a center of a happy cultural community for residents and is scheduled to be held in April, May, September, and October this year.

The 1st Sharing Market will be held on the 15th of next month from 11 a.m. in the Street Food Zone area and will be filled with five spaces: sharing of secondhand items, exhibition sharing, information sharing, experience sharing, and performance sharing.

On the day of the event, if commercial or ethical issues arise from selling new items or counterfeit luxury goods, the seller will be fully responsible. If a seller fails to attend without any contact three days before the event after being selected, they will be prohibited from participating in future Small but Certain Happiness Sharing Markets.
