Modetour announced on the 21st that it will resume travel to China starting next month as group tourist visa issuance for China has become possible.

This resumption of product sales comes after about 3 years and 2 months since January 2020. Since China accounted for a large portion of Modetour's travel offerings, Modetour expects a strong customer response.

The representative product, '5 Days in Changsha, Zhangjiajie, and Wulingyuan (Tianmen Mountain, Tianmen Mountain Temple, Glass Bridge),' uses Asiana Airlines flights resumed from April 24 and includes accommodation at 5-star hotels throughout the itinerary. The itinerary includes Tianzi Mountain in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a representative tourist spot in Zhangjiajie, Yuanjiajie, the filming location of Avatar, and Baofeng Lake, which can be enjoyed by boat. Visitors can also enjoy the thrilling scenery 300 meters below from the world's longest 460-meter glass bridge.

Reflecting travel trends changing after the pandemic, Modetour plans to offer various themed products including its main product line 'Signature,' 'Uri-kiri' for private tours with four or more people, and the high-end luxury product line 'Premium.'

In Hong Kong, which lifted indoor and outdoor mask mandates and mandatory PCR tests for overseas arrivals ahead of China, concept tours with influencers will be operated once a month from May to December.

A Modetour official said, "With the resumption of group tourist visas and airlines quickly reinstating and increasing flights to China, Modetour is focusing all efforts on checking local infrastructure with safety as the top priority before launching full-scale promotional activities such as new product releases and special campaigns."
