Get 500,000 Won Discount When You Buy Samsung Energy-Saving Air Conditioner

Samsung Electronics announced on the 21st that it will offer a discount benefit worth 500,000 KRW when purchasing energy-saving air conditioners. If customers buy 2 out of 9 energy-saving items including air conditioners, they will receive a 200,000 KRW discount per product.

Samsung Electronics stated that from today until May 31, it will hold the 'Samsung Electronics Energy Saving Special Exhibition' at nationwide online and offline stores.

The event targets 30 models across 9 categories including refrigerators, kimchi refrigerators, Grande AI (Artificial Intelligence) washing machines and dryers, Wind-Free air conditioners, Bespoke home appliances, and QLED TVs. If customers purchase an air conditioner among the 9 categories, they will receive a 500,000 KRW discount, and if they purchase 2 or more other items, they will get a 200,000 KRW discount per product.

Samsung Electronics is also conducting a 'SmartThings AI Saving Mode' experience event on Samsung.com. Customers who verify the AI Saving Mode or participate in quizzes will receive prizes. The AI Saving Mode is a feature installed on Samsung’s home appliance management platform, SmartThings. Using this feature can save up to 20% energy for air conditioners, up to 60% for washing machines, and up to 35% for dryers.

Samsung Electronics has launched new products with higher efficiency than the top energy consumption efficiency grade 1 products. The Bespoke Grande AI washing machine (25kg) and Bespoke Wind-Free air conditioner Gallery have energy consumption levels 20% and 10% lower respectively than the minimum standards of grade 1 energy efficiency products. The Bespoke Grande AI washing machine is the first product in Korea to apply the 'Microplastic Reduction Course,' which reduces microplastic emissions by up to 60%.

Samsung.com will also introduce an 'Energy Calculator' service that allows users to easily check the total power consumption of all home appliances in their household. It is designed to check the average power consumption by entering information about owned products such as appliance category, release year, and energy consumption efficiency grade.
