Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will operate a ‘Village Tax Accountant’ program where residents can receive professional tax consultations without financial burden.
The ‘Village Tax Accountant’ program allows residents such as small business owners, traditional market merchants, and vulnerable groups who usually find it difficult to receive consultations from tax experts due to economic reasons to get free tax consultations.

Residents who wish to receive consultations can use phone consultations through the contact information of the Village Tax Accountant posted on the county office website.
Boseong-gun plans to actively promote the program through SNS, production and distribution of promotional materials, and banner postings to ensure many residents can utilize the Village Tax Accountant system.
An official from the county stated, “We will strive to make this program genuinely helpful for residents facing financial difficulties and small business owners concerned about taxes.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to become a Boseong-gun that gets closer to residents through various life-centered tax services.”
Meanwhile, Boseong-gun has been appointing and operating two Village Tax Accountants since 2018. Starting this year, the county plans to implement a ‘Visiting Village Tax Accountant Program’ for residents who find it difficult to visit the county office.
