On the 20th, Gijang-gun, Busan held the 2nd National and City Fund Discovery Report Meeting at the county office briefing room.
The meeting was presided over by the Gijang-gun governor and attended by all senior officials. It was the second meeting held since February 6 to secure funding for major projects from 2023 to 2024.
The 2nd National and City Funding Discovery Report Meeting is being held in the briefing room of Gijang County Office.
At this meeting, in addition to the 26 projects worth 59.8 billion KRW discovered at the 1st report meeting, 10 new projects worth 19.4 billion KRW were identified, discussing the progress and budget securing strategies for a total of 36 projects worth 79.2 billion KRW.
Major projects include ▲ County Road No. 17 (Jung 2-306 Line) alignment improvement construction ▲ Small stream (Nareumteo Stream) maintenance project ▲ Upper Suyeong River stream maintenance project ▲ Ilgwangsan Baramnuri-gil creation project ▲ Imgi Village Ssamtji Park creation project, among others.
The county plans to focus administrative efforts on promoting the discovered national and city fund projects for regional development.
Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, “Many of the projects discovered at the 2nd report meeting were aimed at developing restricted development zone areas,” adding, “Please make every effort to secure national and city funds for these public projects to provide practical help to local residents and further realize balanced development among regions.”
