Hanjin announced on the 20th that it is taking the lead in supporting local small business owners' online expansion through the small business online sales support platform app, ‘Digital EasyOrder’.
As domestic demand shrinks and prices rise, small business owners are facing difficulties, but with the establishment of non-face-to-face consumption trends due to COVID-19, the importance of developing online sales channels is increasing. However, small business owners who are accustomed to offline businesses struggle with online sales or are not familiar with the online environment. Most sell products through phone orders, which limits their ability to handle order volumes and makes continuous customer management difficult, restricting marketing activities.
Since its launch in December 2021, Hanjin has been supporting small business owners facing these difficulties in developing non-face-to-face sales channels through Digital EasyOrder. Digital EasyOrder is a one-stop digital app platform that manages everything from product registration to ordering, payment, and delivery at once, eliminating the hassle of manual management for small business owners and providing digital work convenience. Of course, it reduces the burden on sellers by eliminating membership fees, order commissions, and advertising costs, and supports easier store management including promotion and marketing beyond customer management.
In particular, sellers can send digital business cards to regular customers via KakaoTalk or text messages, and when seasonal products such as spring herbs or new products arrive, they can continuously promote them through KakaoTalk, text messages, and app notification KakaoTalk, making customer management efficient. Also, customers visiting the store can scan the store’s exclusive QR code to check store and product information, then conveniently purchase products and have them delivered to their homes.
Digital EasyOrder can also be automatically linked with Hanjin’s One-Click Courier Service, one of its parcel delivery services. Launched in October 2019 as part of Creating Shared Value (CSV), the One-Click Courier Service is a parcel delivery service for small business owners, individual sellers, and startups, allowing customers with small-scale shipments of about 1 to 10 items per day to use courier services at reasonable prices and with simple functions. The service has received great response, reaching 50,000 registered customers within three years of its launch.
Hanjin has also produced seller training videos to make functions such as membership registration, PG service application, QR code generation, delivery, refund, and product management easy for small business owners to understand when using the Digital EasyOrder service. In the future, sellers registered on Digital EasyOrder will be databased by region so that the locations of popular restaurants nationwide and various information can be viewed at a glance. The plan is to expand sales channels for small business owners and provide customers with high-quality products from various regions at reasonable prices.
A Hanjin official stated, “We will continue to grow ‘Digital EasyOrder’ so that local small business owners can actively expand from neighborhood markets to nationwide markets, establishing it as a representative model of shared growth that supports business growth.”
