Mayor Park emphasized after receiving reports on each department's response, “Each department should proactively respond to the increasingly frequent high-concentration fine dust situations, promote awareness to all residents including vulnerable facilities such as daycare centers, schools, and senior centers in the area, and conduct road washing to ensure thorough safety measures for residents' health.”

Accordingly, the district disseminated fine dust advisories to residents through various channels such as Mapo TV and SNS, urging them to avoid going out as much as possible and to wear health masks and stay hydrated when going out is unavoidable.
