'Golfzon Social' First Store Opens in New York, USA
Additional Golfzon Range Stores Planned
Golfzon plans to enhance the status of 'K-Screen Golf' in overseas markets, including the Americas, through localization strategies this year.
On the 21st of last month, Golfzon opened its first complex golf culture facility, 'Golfzon Social,' at the Palisades Center in New York, USA. It is a sports pub concept where companions can freely enjoy screen golf games while having food and beverages. The company aims to accelerate its localization strategy by continuously opening stores in New York State this year.

Following the opening of its first academy store using the GDR system, 'Golfzon Range,' in the United States last December, Golfzon plans to open a second store in the first half of this year. Golfzon Range features lessons based on the curriculum of Golfzon's golf player development institution, Golfzon Red Better Academy (GLA). Each bay in the store is equipped with Golfzon's GDR Plus, allowing for precise practice. In the future, Golfzon plans to collaborate with various golf-related brands to provide customized services such as club fitting.
Currently, Golfzon operates over 830 screen golf stores overseas, including about 400 in Japan, 200 in China, 100 in the United States, 40 in Vietnam, and 90 in other countries. Overseas sales have continuously increased, reaching 26.2 billion KRW in 2020, 51.9 billion KRW in 2021, and 75 billion KRW last year. Building on this foundation, the company has presented plans to steadily open screen golf stores in the Americas market.
Park Kang-soo, CEO of Golfzon, stated, "This year, through localization strategies and focused investment in overseas business, we plan to promote Golfzon's unique golf simulator technology worldwide beyond Korea," adding, "We will do our best to establish new businesses and business models to contribute to the development of the golf industry."
