Competing in All Tour Events Wearing Costumes Starting April
Golfwear brand Hazzys Golf announced on the 20th that it has signed an official clothing sponsorship contract with Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) players Lim Jin-hee and Lee Chae-eun2.
Under this agreement, the two players will wear clothing provided by Hazzys Golf at all KLPGA Tour tournaments starting from April. Hazzys Golf plans to strengthen its image as a performance golfwear brand through sponsoring these two players.
Lim Jin-hee debuted in the KLPGA regular league in 2018 and has demonstrated her true value on the tour with a total of two wins to date. She is regarded as a versatile player who performs well across all clubs, from driver to putter. Last year, she recorded a victory at the McCol Monapark Open and a runner-up finish at the Dongbu Construction Korea Land Trust Championship, ranking 14th in the regular tour prize money standings and 13th in driver distance.
Lee Chae-eun2, who finished as runner-up after a fierce competition for the title at last year’s Mediheal-Korea Daily Championship, showed remarkable improvement and made a name for herself as the golf world’s 'Cinderella.' Among KLPGA Tour players, she is the only one to use a yellow ball in competition, earning her the nickname 'Yellow Princess.' Additionally, her unique styling at each tournament has attracted much attention from fans.
An LF official said, "We are pleased to sponsor these two players who stand out in the KLPGA Tour not only for their excellent skills but also for their relentless effort and distinctive playing styles. We will support them to achieve outstanding results with Hazzys Golf’s clothing that combines both functionality and style."
