Starbucks Korea announced on the 20th that it will launch three beverages including the seasonal ‘Choux Cream Latte’ released every spring, as well as ‘Pink Flower Yuzu Berry Tea’ and ‘Basil Lemon Sherbet Blended,’ along with three food items.
The Choux Cream Latte is Starbucks’ representative seasonal beverage, boasting a rich and sweet vanilla flavor unique to the choux cream made with natural vanilla beans, harmonized with milk and espresso.
Featuring yellow choux cream reminiscent of spring flowers such as dandelions and forsythia, the Choux Cream Latte is a beverage developed in-house by Starbucks Korea. Since its first release in 2017, it has been a popular menu item selling over 1.5 million cups each year for about a month. The cumulative sales over the past six years have reached 14.3 million cups.
Pink Flower Yuzu Berry Tea is a drink that expresses a single flower using the scents of various flowers such as geranium and lily of the valley. It combines a cool and sweet oriental melon base with yuzu berry and hibiscus blended tea, adding a subtle floral aroma and representing a peony flower with pink chocolate sauce.
Basil Lemon Sherbet Blended is a gelato sherbet-like beverage with the sweet and sour flavors of lemon and mango, subtly infused with the unique aroma of basil. It also features a green base containing green vegetables such as basil and arugula.
In addition, Starbucks offers spring seasonal foods including the ‘Basque Cheesecake,’ originating from the Basque region of Spain, characterized by its dark brown crust baked at high temperature for a short time and soft interior; the ‘Chicken Tomato Cheese Sandwich,’ combining savory sesame with rich tomato flavor; and the ‘Potato Onion Cream Cheese Bagel,’ served with mashed potatoes and onion cream cheese on a chewy tangzhong bagel.
Customers can also find products perfect for decorating the table or using in the kitchen during spring renewal, such as the ’23 Spring Lovely Home Mug Tree,’ ’23 Spring Lovely Home Bearista Opener,’ and ’23 Spring Lovely Home Gratin Bowl.’
