According to Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries on the 19th, to facilitate smooth treatment for patients in need of transfusions and to alleviate the burden on the local medical community, the company held the "2023 First Half Life Sharing Company-wide Blood Donation Event" in cooperation with the Korean Red Cross Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center from the 15th to the 17th for three days.

Due to the severe blood shortage caused by the impact of COVID-19, the company has been conducting company-wide group blood donations since 2020.

An official from the heavy industries sector stated, "Thanks to the employees stepping forward to donate blood, it is expected to be a great help to patients in need of transfusions and the medical community," adding, "We will continue to participate steadily in blood donations and take the lead in realizing the value of life sharing."

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has had a total of approximately 1,100 participants in blood donations to date.
