Vehicle Falls into the Sea at Dangmok Port

On the 18th at around 4:19 PM, a report was received by 119 and others that a vehicle had fallen into the sea at Dangmok Port, Yaksan-myeon, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do.

There were three people in the vehicle, presumed to be a family. They are known to be grandparents in their 70s and their granddaughter in her 30s.

They were rescued in a state of cardiac arrest and transported to a hospital.

The vehicle is believed to have fallen into the sea during the ferry boarding process. The Coast Guard and others are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
