Singer Kwak Dong-hyun Showcases Wide Spectrum Vocal Ability
Singer Kwak Dong-hyun is making a comeback after 3 years with his new single album 'Eotteon Haru' (A Certain Day). The new album will be released on the 20th.
Kwak Dong-hyun is known for showcasing his high vocal range and wide vocal spectrum on shows like Hidden Singer and Phantom Singer. He has also played leading roles in various musicals such as Siddhartha, We Will Rock You, Chang-eop, and Klimt.
Kwak Dong-hyun's new song was composed and executive produced by B612's Seo Jun-seo, who was the lead on the rock ballad 'Namanui Geudae Moseup' (Only My You). They collaborated on the album after Kwak Dong-hyun performed 'Namanui Geudae Moseup' during his appearance on MBC's King of Mask Singer.
The title track 'Eotteon Haru' features Kwak Dong-hyun's distinctive, emotive vocals and impressive high notes. It is praised for its beautiful and lyrical melody and smooth progression, capturing the painful emotions of a breakup.
'Namanui Geudae Moseup' was newly remade for this album with dynamic arrangement by Chu Seung-yeop, leader of the group Aktoong, and production by the original composer Seo Jun-seo.
Meanwhile, Kwak Dong-hyun will hold a showcase and fan meeting on the 19th, one day before the single release, to present the new song to fans first. The event will include live performances, games with fans, talk sessions, autograph signing, and photo time, providing various opportunities for interaction with fans.
