EcoPro Group stocks are all showing a downward trend. It is interpreted that the stock prices are falling due to profit-taking selling.
As of 11:11 AM on the 17th, EcoPro BM is trading at 200,000 KRW, down 7.41% (16,000 KRW) from the previous day. EcoPro and EcoPro HN are also down 10.05% (394,000 KRW) and 4.26% (67,500 KRW), respectively.
EcoPro Group stocks attracted attention with a sharp rise in stock prices amid a sluggish domestic stock market. As market volatility has increased recently, more investors are betting on declines, leading to profit-taking selling.
As of 11:16 AM, looking at EcoPro BM’s trading trends, institutions are selling off 8.844 billion KRW worth of shares, pulling the stock price down. On the previous day, foreigners and institutions net sold 101.9 billion KRW and 26.9 billion KRW, respectively.
In the case of EcoPro, foreigners and institutions are selling 8.777 billion KRW and 5.963 billion KRW worth of shares, respectively. On the previous day, foreigners and institutions also net sold 160.2 billion KRW and 13.7 billion KRW, respectively. EcoPro HN fell below the 70,000 KRW level. On the previous day, foreigners and institutions net sold 1.4 billion KRW and 1 billion KRW, respectively.
Meanwhile, according to the Korea Financial Investment Association, the average daily short-selling amount of EcoPro BM increased more than twofold from 1.2 trillion KRW in January to 2.5 trillion KRW in March.
