"Efforts to Activate Sponsorship and Strengthen Competitiveness"
The Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) announced that it held the '2023 KPGA Korean Tour Policy Briefing' on the 16th and 17th at Island Resort in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

At this briefing, various matters such as this season's marketing and promotional policies, newly established and revised tour regulations, and tournament operation methods were shared with the title sponsors, and ways for mutual development were discussed. Additionally, ahead of the signing of a new broadcasting rights contract, the new broadcasting plan was introduced to the title sponsors.
Kim Byung-jun, CEO of the Korea Professional Golf Tour (KGT), said, "We organized this seminar to discuss directions in which KPGA and the domestic golf industry can grow together," adding, "We will actively incorporate the various opinions raised here to promote sponsorship activation and strengthen the competitiveness of the tour."
Meanwhile, the 2023 KPGA Korean Tour will begin its approximately seven-month journey starting with the 18th DB Insurance Promy Open held from the 13th to 16th of next month at La Vie Belle Country Club (CC) in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. This year, it will be conducted on the largest scale ever, with 25 tournaments and a total prize money exceeding 25 billion KRW.
