Ferrari unveiled the 'Roma Spider' at El Badi Palace in Marrakesh, Morocco.
This vehicle is the convertible version of the Ferrari Roma, inheriting the proportions, volume, and specifications of the Ferrari Roma's V8 2+ concept. The soft top, first introduced in the 1969 365 GTS4, has been adopted for the front-engine model for the first time in 54 years.
The soft top opens and closes in 13.5 seconds and operates at speeds up to 60 km/h. The newly patented wind deflector is integrated into the rear seat backrest and can be operated via a button on the central tunnel.
The Ferrari Roma Spider retains the excellent dynamic characteristics of the Ferrari Roma. Thanks to the soft top, a 100% aluminum chassis, and the 620-horsepower Ferrari V8 engine that has won the International Engine of the Year award for four consecutive years, it delivers the best power-to-weight ratio in its class (2.5 kg/cv). It is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
It features the largest trunk in its category with a hatch accessible through the rear seats for carrying larger items, wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Wi-Fi, and ergonomically heated seats adjustable in 18 steps, with an optional neck warmer.
