Invitation of Over 120 Tourism Industry Professionals for Ulsan Field Trip on the 17th-18th
"Shall we go meet 'Ulsan' now?"
The city of Ulsan is hosting a fam tour inviting tourism industry professionals nationwide to introduce Ulsan's major tourism contents. This preliminary inspection trip was organized as a follow-up event to the '2023 Ulsan Tourism Policy Briefing' held in Seoul last February.
The fam tour targeted about 120 participants, including travel agency representatives and staff capable of organizing group travel packages for Ulsan who applied at the policy briefing, as well as tourism-specialized journalists who can promote the products. From March 17 to 18, over one night and two days, participants will visit Ulsan's representative tourist sites and experiential tourism resources.
The main tourist sites include ▲Bangudae Petroglyphs ▲Taehwagang National Garden ▲Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Special Zone ▲Daewangam Park ▲Ganjeolgot, among others. Experiential tourism resources to be visited include ▲Oegosan Onggi Village ▲Fe01 Junk Art Gallery ▲Trebeer Craft Beer Brewery and restaurants capable of accommodating group travelers.
Ulsan City plans to lead the development of stay-type tourism products by providing practical resource inspections and linking accommodation packages through this event.
An official from Ulsan City said, "With a wealth of festival news throughout Ulsan this year, including the Ulsan Industrial Festival, we hope to create various travel products to increase the number of tourists visiting Ulsan."
Ulsan City is focusing on attracting tourists by continuously conducting fam tours that invite influential figures in tourism such as industry workers, influencers, and broadcast writers, allowing them to directly experience Ulsan's major tourism resources.
