On the 17th, some areas will drop below freezing in the morning and rise in the afternoon, resulting in a large temperature difference throughout the day. It will be mostly cloudy with rain in some regions.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast, the morning low temperatures will range from -5 to 8 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will be around 9 to 16 degrees Celsius. In Seoul, the morning low will be 1 degree Celsius, similar to the previous day, with a daytime high reaching up to 14 degrees Celsius.

The KMA expects the temperature difference between day and night to be very large, exceeding 15 degrees Celsius, especially inland. Cloudy conditions will persist until the 18th, then clear up from the afternoon.
Dryness warnings have been issued for the metropolitan area, parts of Gangwon-do, inland Chungcheong region, and southern provinces. Other areas are also expected to gradually become dry. The KMA urges caution to prevent fires.
Jeju-do will see occasional rain of 5 to 10 mm from the morning, and the southern coast will experience about 1 mm of rain at night. The Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do regions, as well as Jeju-do, will be mostly cloudy. Fine dust levels nationwide are expected to be between ‘Good’ and ‘Moderate’.
