Actress Yoon Se-ah (45, Kim Bo-young)'s mother is known to be Kim Sang-soon, who participated as a Go advisor for the Netflix series 'The Glory'.

'The Glory' is a drama dealing with school violence, with Part 1 released on December 30 last year and Part 2 released on the 10th of this month, gaining popularity by ranking number one in the TV category in 42 countries. Actress Song Hye-kyo plays the victim Moon Dong-eun in the drama. Moon Dong-eun studies Go while preparing for revenge against her perpetrators over a long period. In 'The Glory', Go is a major theme that encapsulates various foreshadowing elements, attracting attention.

On the 16th, Yoon Se-ah mentioned 'The Glory' on her social media, saying, "It's the first time I've endlessly replayed the ending credits," and added, "My mother's name deeply resonates in my heart." She then revealed, "My mother, who was the first female Go master and has devoted her life to the Go community, participated as a Go advisor."

Yoon Se-ah's mother is Kim Sang-soon, a prominent figure in the Go community who appears in academic papers on the history of Korean women's Go. Kim Sang-soon is considered an influential figure in the Go world following Jo Young-sook and Yoon Hee-yul in the 1970s. She gained attention by winning the first Women's Go Master title in 1974, defeating strong contenders, and contributed to expanding the female Go base by serving as the inaugural president of the Korea Women's Baduk Federation.

Although Kim Sang-soon participated as an advisory committee member for 'The Glory', she did not directly teach Go to Song Hye-kyo nor act as a double. Yoon Se-ah explained, "She only participated as an advisor for Go-related research materials and never met Song Hye-kyo in person to teach her Go."

Regarding her mother, Yoon Se-ah said, "She still teaches Go to children and says she is happy," and expressed pride, saying, "I am proud of my mother who says she would choose Go again if she were born again." She also conveyed her deep affection by saying, "I respect and love her."
