Various Programs Including Music, Art, and Horticultural Therapy
The Jindo County Public Health Center in Jeollanam-do has launched a bereaved family healing program to help heal the grief of families left behind after losing a loved one.
According to the county on the 15th, the bereaved family healing program has been held twice a week from March to May at the Jindo County Mental Health Welfare Center. Participants share memories of the deceased and difficult experiences through family introductions and experience sharing, providing a time of mutual empathy and comfort.
The healing program offers various therapeutic activities such as music, art, and horticultural therapy, and also conducts surveys. For inquiries about participating in the healing program, contact the Mental Health Team at the Jindo County Public Health Center.
A representative from the Jindo County Public Health Center stated, “Through the bereaved family healing program, we plan to do our best to help families overcome the pain and sorrow of losing a loved one and recover in their daily lives.”
