Gurye 'Sansuyu Festival and Samdaesammi Hanmadang' Held

Local Residents' Participation and Commercial Revitalization During Festival Period

Food, Attractions, and Entertainment Events at the 5-Day Market

Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will hold the event "Samdaesammi Gurye 5-Day Market Festival with the Sansuyu Festival" inside the Gurye 5-Day Market on the 18th, alongside the county's representative festival, the "Sansuyu Flower Festival."

The Samdaesammi Gurye 5-Day Market Festival with the Sansuyu Festival is a project promoted as part of the Gurye-eup central downtown-type urban regeneration project selected in 2020.

The event is organized by the Samdaesammi Residents' Council (representative So Jae-deok) and hosted by Gurye-gun and the Gurye-eup Urban Regeneration Field Support Center.

At this event, groups and clubs active in Gurye-eup, such as the Nanta Calligraphy Team, Jwado Traditional Nongak, Arirang Janggu, and the Silver Band, will directly participate to provide attractions for tourists visiting the Gurye 5-Day Market and local residents.

A county official stated, "We will create a vibrant Gurye-eup by promoting multifaceted urban regeneration projects, including operating various festival event support programs."
