Narae Nanotech is newly pursuing the secondary battery business, one of the future new power businesses with various applications such as electric vehicles. Based on coating and drying technologies accumulated in the display sector, it is developing secondary battery process equipment. It is developing key manufacturing process equipment such as coaters, drying ovens, and stacking machines. Additionally, it is developing equipment that coats anode and cathode active material powders onto current collectors in the production line of next-generation all-solid-state batteries and is supplying this equipment to customers for research purposes.

Furthermore, Narae Nanotech, which counts Samsung Display among its customers, has succeeded in developing mass production technology for coaters used in forming polyimide (PI) films for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) substrates for electric vehicles, the world's first achievement of its kind. This technology is known to be currently applied in AMOLED displays by Samsung and LG.
