Discussion on Measures for Sports Facilities, Accommodation, Transportation, and Logistics
Ulsan City has begun checking the preparation status ahead of two nationwide sports events scheduled for May.
On the 15th at 10:30 a.m., Ulsan City announced that it will hold a preparation status inspection meeting for the successful hosting of the "52nd National Youth Sports Festival" and the "17th National Sports Festival for Students with Disabilities" at the Ulsan Sports Complex National Sports Festival Planning Office.
At the meeting, eight officials related to the sports festivals, including Seo Daesung, Director of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and Nam Byeongseok, Head of the National Sports Festival Planning Office, will discuss the preparation status and future plans for the National Youth (Students with Disabilities) Sports Festival.
The main discussion points include ▲opening ceremony ▲status of securing venues and safety measures for facilities ▲accommodation, transportation, and transit measures ▲emergency medical and quarantine measures ▲installation and operation of the comprehensive situation room and tournament operation headquarters ▲promotion progress, and more.
Earlier, on the 9th, Ulsan City held a meeting with 18 sports festival-related officials, including executives from the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education, Ulsan Facilities Corporation, Ulsan Sports Council, Ulsan Volunteer Center, and the Sports Discipline Association Council, to discuss suggestions and preparation status.
Seo Daesung, Director of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, said, "We will do our best to prepare so that this sports festival can become a grand sports event that further promotes Ulsan's image nationwide."
