Jeon Du-hwan's Grandson Exposes Family Allegations on SNS
Video of Screen Golf Course at Yeonhui-dong Residence Also Released
A man claiming to be the grandson of the late former President Jeon Du-hwan raised allegations of corruption involving the Jeon family through social media (SNS). The man asserted, "Jeon Jae-yong, the second son of Jeon Du-hwan, is engaging in fraudulent activities using undisclosed slush funds."
Introducing himself as the son of Jeon Jae-yong, the man stated on his Instagram on the 13th, "I made this video to help reveal the criminal fraud activities my family may be involved in."
In the video, he said about Jeon Jae-yong, "To avoid being labeled a criminal, he is manipulating documents in Korea to legally obtain U.S. citizenship." He added, "To escape the watchful eyes of the law, he is pretending to be a preacher while carrying out fraudulent acts."
The man also referred to Jeon Jae-yong as "this person," appealing, "He is using hidden slush funds in the U.S. to appear virtuous on the surface, but behind the scenes, he continues to commit evil deeds. I ask for your help to stop him." He also called himself a sinner and said, "I will accept my punishment willingly."
In a post featuring a childhood photo of two children lying side by side on a bed with Jeon Du-hwan, the man wrote, "My father (Jeon Jae-yong) and mother live off undisclosed black money," adding, "They still do not realize their sins, but there will be judgment by the law."

He also claimed that an indoor screen golf facility is installed inside Jeon Du-hwan’s residence in Yeonhui-dong and posted related footage. The video shows an elderly woman enjoying a game at the indoor screen golf facility. The man asserted that the elderly woman in the video is Lee Soon-ja, Jeon Du-hwan’s spouse.
