Establishing a Joint Industry-Academia Cooperation System

LX Semicon is partnering with Yonsei University College of Engineering to foster semiconductor specialized talent and advance technology development.

On the 15th, LX Semicon announced that it signed an agreement with Yonsei University College of Engineering to establish the 'LX Semicon Industry-Academic Cooperation Center.' The event was attended by Kodaehyeop, Executive Director and Head of Research at LX Semicon, Wooyoungjin, Managing Director at LX Semicon, Myung Jaemin, Dean of Yonsei University College of Engineering, and Professor Kim Taewook.

On the 14th, LX Semicon signed an agreement with Yonsei University College of Engineering to establish the 'LX Semicon Industry-Academic Cooperation Center.' After the signing ceremony, Kodaehyeop, Executive Director and Head of Research at LX Semicon (right), and Myeong Jaemin, Dean of Yonsei University College of Engineering, took a commemorative photo.

Through this agreement, both parties will establish an industry-academic joint cooperation system to build a research and development network and cultivate outstanding talent, and actively collaborate to develop next-generation semiconductor technologies.

The LX Semicon Industry-Academic Cooperation Center will support industry-academic programs necessary for research on advanced semiconductor foundational technologies, LX Semicon’s employee degree dispatch program, internships for Yonsei University College of Engineering students, and the selection of industry-academic scholarship students. LX Semicon plans to organically combine its research and development capabilities with Yonsei University’s excellent research achievements and talent development experience to generate various synergies.
