Launch Ceremony Held for SNS Supporters Langlang-i and Our Neighborhood Reporters

5th SNS Supporters Langlang-i on the 13th and 4th Our Neighborhood Reporters on the 14th

Residents Create Content and Participate in District Promotion Based on Their Love for the Community

Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) held the launch ceremonies for the 5th SNS Supporters Langlang-i and the 4th Our Neighborhood Reporters on the 13th and 14th, respectively.

First, the launch ceremony for the SNS Supporters Langlang-i held on the 13th was attended by the selected residents as supporters and Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu, where they encouraged a strong start to their activities and shared their individual aspirations.

A resident who has participated as a Langlang-i for two consecutive years said, "I am glad to be able to work as a Langlang-i again this year. I will strive to widely share attractions that make Jungnang proud and information that helps residents."

The supporters’ name and the district’s SNS character, "Langlang-i," carries the meaning of "Making Jungnang truly Jungnang! Delivering district news clearly and melodiously." A total of 30 Langlang-i will create content over the next 10 months covering five areas: economy, welfare, education, culture, and tourism, promoting events, attractions, and useful lifestyle information.

On the 14th, the launch ceremony for the 4th Our Neighborhood Reporters was held. Comprising 42 residents with affection for the community, Our Neighborhood Reporters (Sudongtong) will cover vivid local news, good news stories, and practical information, recording and delivering them through videos.

A participant who will work as a reporter for Myeonmok 3 and 8-dong shared, "Although I was born and raised in Jungnang-gu, I didn’t have much affection for the neighborhood. However, seeing it become a better place to live has made me care more, and I wanted to capture and share these stories from my perspective, which motivated me to join."

Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu said, "It is truly meaningful and appreciated that people active in various fields share their love for Jungnang-gu and join us like this. I ask Langlang-i and Our Neighborhood Reporters to actively promote diverse news and information about Jungnang-gu."
