Sancheong Expo Accelerates Promotion Targeting Pro Sports Spectators

Characters Juni and Geumi Appear at Soccer and Baseball Fields!

Jun-i (Heo Jun) and Geum-i (Dae Jang Geum), the characters of the Sancheong Expo in Gyeongnam, visited Changwon NC Park, where the opening game of the professional baseball exhibition season was held.

The Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo Organizing Committee announced on the 15th that they are stepping up Expo promotion efforts to spectators visiting the stadium in celebration of the opening of the local professional sports season in March.

Starting with the home opening game of Gyeongnam FC professional soccer held at Changwon Football Center on the 1st, they continued to promote the Sancheong Expo to about 1,000 spectators by participating in the opening game of the LG Twins and NC Dinos exhibition match held on the 13th.

The organizing committee used the Expo characters Jun-i and Geum-i to attract spectators' interest and attention to the Expo through placard promotions and photo sessions. In addition, they actively carried out promotional activities such as distributing promotional leaflets and souvenirs, and installing banners to widely publicize the Expo.

In particular, Jun-i and Geum-i appeared in the stadium stands and played an active role in promoting the Expo, receiving much applause and popularity from the audience.

Starting with this promotional event, the organizing committee plans to visit sports stadiums such as baseball and soccer games with large crowds to directly promote the Expo and imprint its information and image on spectators.

Park Jeong-jun, the secretary-general, said, “We are directly visiting places where large crowds gather to promote the Expo for its successful hosting and attracting visitors. Especially with the baseball season underway, we will continue to promote the Expo mainly to spectators watching the games of our local professional team, the NC Dinos.”

The 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo is scheduled to be held for 35 days from September 15 to October 19 at Donguibogam Village in Sancheong-gun under the theme “Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World.”
