Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, received a total compensation of 3.625 billion KRW from Hyundai Mobis, a parts affiliate, last year.
According to the company's business report released on the 14th, Chairman Chung received 2.5 billion KRW in salary and 1.125 billion KRW in bonuses. The bonuses are incentives for last year's performance. The salary remained the same as the previous year, but the bonus increased by 250 million KRW.

Chairman Chung serves as the CEO of both Hyundai Motor and Hyundai Mobis, receiving salaries from both companies. Hyundai Motor has not yet released its business report for last year. He also serves as an inside director at Kia but does not receive a salary there.
Cho Seonghwan, CEO of Hyundai Mobis, received a total of 1.471 billion KRW including salary and bonuses. Vice President Bae Hyeonggeun received 822 million KRW. Former Vice President Jeong Jeonghwan, who retired, received 2.041 billion KRW including retirement pay, and former Executive Director Kim Wonhyeok received 1.808 billion KRW.
Hyundai Mobis's average employee annual salary exceeded 100 million KRW for the first time last year, reaching 108 million KRW. In 2021, it was 98 million KRW.
