Kim Dong-yeon Engages in Consecutive Communication and Cooperation with Provincial Council... Luncheon with Gyeongno Committee on 23rd

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon continues his communication and cooperation efforts by inviting provincial assembly members who participated in last year's Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly administrative questions, as well as arranging meetings with standing committee members.

On the 14th, Governor Kim held a meeting with 14 members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly's Planning and Finance Committee at Dodamso in Paldal-gu, Suwon City (the former Gyeonggi Governor's official residence).

Governor Kim said, "When it comes to serving Gyeonggi Province and its residents, what difference is there between the ruling and opposition parties, or between the executive branch and the assembly?" He added, "Yesterday, I attended an event related to the Bay Valley Megacity with the Governor of Chungnam Province. This project was originally promised by another candidate, but they contacted me, and I gladly signed a business agreement to collaborate. It is important to create a synergy effect by bringing together residents of southern Gyeonggi and northern Chungnam, regardless of regional boundaries or party ideologies. It was very positive."

He continued, "As you supported us last year with the budget and organization and did not disappoint our expectations, I will work hard on provincial administration and achieve great results. I promise to consult and communicate whenever there is work to be done."

Ji Mi-yeon, Chairperson of the Provincial Assembly's Planning and Finance Committee, responded, "I want to think of today’s gathering not as a formality but as the beginning of a good opportunity to speak more openly. We strongly support the provincial administration activities. We are always open. If you contact us, we will move forward together with the Governor."

Previously, on the 13th, Governor Kim had lunch with 18 assembly members who participated in the administrative questions. On the 23rd, he will continue communication meetings with members of the Economic and Labor Committee.
