Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is conducting village-level outreach integration education to promote communication and harmony between the increasing number of returnees to farming and local residents.

Cheongsong-gun Strengthens Communication with Residents and Returnees... Village-Level 'Visiting Integration Education' Cheongsong County held village-level outreach integration education to strengthen communication between residents and returning farmers.

The village-level outreach integration education brings together returnees who have lived in other urban areas and local residents living in rural villages to participate in recreational activities and experiential learning, share meals, and naturally interact and communicate to help them integrate well into the community.

Cheongsong-gun started the program on the 13th in Mogye 1-ri village, Hyeonseo-myeon, with about 30 participants, and plans to hold sessions in Byeongbu-ri, Pacheon-myeon, and Gucheon-ri, Bunam-myeon. Additional sessions will be conducted as needed.

Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “Successful return to farming includes well integrating into the local community,” and added, “We will strive to ensure that returnees adapt well and that Cheongsong becomes a place where both returnees and local residents can achieve a win-win outcome.”
