Actor Jang Dong-yoon and Park Yu-na star in the movie 'Long-Di,' which distributor NEW announced will be released in May on the 14th.
'Long-Di' unveiled a special poster on White Day. The film depicts the untact love story of a couple of the same age who have been in a long-distance relationship for five years, starting just before turning thirty. Although it is a long-distance relationship, it portrays the new dating style of today's generation, who are connected 24/7, in a screenlife format.
The two young actors, Jang Dong-yoon and Park Yu-na, play a couple in their fifth year together. The film is expected to resonate by showing the love of today's generation connected through online means even during a long-distance relationship. Clues hidden throughout, such as missed calls piling up and photos of Do-ha looking dazed, compose scenes through digital device screens like smartphones and PCs, in a screenlife romance format.
The film is co-produced by Bazalevs, known for introducing the screenlife technique with the movie 'Search.' Timur Bekmambetov, the representative director of Bazalevs, said, "At a time when global interest in K-content is increasing, I am pleased to participate in Korean film production with Twelve Journey," adding, "Korean audiences have a high usage of IT devices and a strong acceptance of new things, so they will embrace the screenlife format the best."
