The Ulsan Ulju-gun Youth Center ‘Cheongnyeonjigi’ is recruiting participants for the career and employment competency enhancement academy ‘Jinchwi Hakdang’s educational program and career employment psychological counseling’ until the 29th.
‘Jinchwi Hakdang’ means ‘Career (Jin) Employment (Chwi) Academy (Hakdang)’ and is operated for young people seeking jobs. Last year, more than 300 youths participated, achieving a high satisfaction rate of 89%, receiving great response.
The educational program consists of a total of 9 career and employment sections, including ▲career exploration ▲time management methods ▲self-introduction letter writing practice (basic and advanced) ▲personal color diagnosis, among others.
To help young people prepare practically for interviews, a new interview attire diagnosis program has also been included.
The career employment psychological counseling offers various psychological counseling by professional counselors, including ▲self-exploration (Holland test, etc.) ▲job search basics (basic skills needed for workplace adaptation) ▲interpersonal relationships (basic psychology theory) ▲mental care (stress management), helping to resolve young people’s concerns.
The educational program is held every Thursday from this month until November, and during the same period, career employment psychological counseling is conducted with individual counseling accepting applications on a rolling basis every month (first-come, first-served), and group counseling held on the fourth Friday every other month.
Eligible participants are youths aged 18 to 39 who are residents of Ulju-gun or youths active in Ulju-gun or interested in the program, and anyone can apply for free.
Detailed application methods and schedules can be found on the Ulju-gun Youth Center SNS (Instagram) or website.
Center Director Lee Tae-ho said, “This year as well, we will do our best to work with and support more young people through diverse and substantial projects.”
